Finally back on the bike for a real ride after 4 days off! I can't believe it had been that long.
My legs took a long time to "wake up" I felt pretty lethargic for the first hour or so. I slowly began to feel good, and took some pulls on the front of the train holding at 50+km/h
Coming into town for the sprint, Fabbro went really early, then Don went and i was a little later. Don caught Dave and pulled him up the hill, I think Dave won. Don 2nd, and I was all alone for 3rd.
I had my vest in my jersey and I guess it fell out in the sprint, thankfully one of the guys behind turned back and got it off the road. I didn't even know I'd lost it!
Tomorrow is supposed to be dry, so I am really looking forward to getting out again, my legs felt pretty great, but they are tired now.
