Todd and I went out for another recovery ride. He's been fighting a cold since before the 24hour and still isn't better.
Didn't help that we got caught in the rain for about half the ride today.
We didn't increase our pace though, we stuck to our recovery HR levels, and it was actually a pretty nice ride.
I am riding to Toronto on Friday, so tomorrow may be a rest day, but if the weather is good, i may go ride in the afternoon, we'll see how the legs feel. Tonight they felt good, and with the lack of effort expended, i imagine they'll be fresh and ready!
It's nice to know i've done this many miles, it will be more than double last year's total by mid Sept, but i've not really ever felt over-trained. I've had a couple off days, especially after the 152mile ride, but that's to be expected!
