Posted over 2 years ago by LonnBe sure to sign up, and bring your kids/spouse to the Miles of Smiles run. It is Saturday, August 5 at 7 p.m. There will be a 400 meter run for kids and the 8K for whoever wants to participate. It will be a flat, fast course that winds around so that your family can see you often. There will be great food and fun and entertainment. Good place to turn kids on to running. Thanks! The run was a fun event. Definitely plan on doing it next year when you consider yourself ready! It was well-organized and well-sponsored. The only down side was th 90 degree start - kind of took some fuel out of my tank. But, it was good to get out and run hard.
