Hey, here's another motivation idea: How about if I buy the winner of the August challenge a real yellow jersey with the MeFi logo on the front?

Thanks for mentioning Portland Cyclewear. I found that site last year when I was thinking of getting some custom wool mefi jerseys, but I lost the URL ages ago and forgot about them.

In retrospect, I should have ridden the 22 and 23rd, the two hottest days we had here in August, instead of wimping out.

I did do some big rides last month, but wasn't as consistent as I needed to be.

I'm going to stay away from logging miles here for a while, because I don't like getting obsessive about it.
