ING Bay to Breakers 12K was founded in 1912, making it one of the oldest footraces in the United States. Since then it has grown in size to become one of the largest running events in the world and is renowned for its truly unique and irreverent character. World-class athletes share this course with runners and walkers from all over the globe, and some of the most outrageous costumes you will find anywhere. 2008 will be the 97th running of this historic event.

Finished 1:23:17. Not the best time ever, but I'm pretty happy as this was my first ever road race. Finished feeling like I could run another 18.74 miles. :)
